My pc is ok:

9/10 CPU (AMD Phenom2 X6 1100T black edition need amd FX8350 X8 or maybe the AMD FX9590).

10/10 GPU (GTX590 = OK).

9/10 RAM (8 GB. need 16 GB.).

PS: My rig is starting to lag at 1080p. I'm sure heat is the problem, cause I haven't cleaned the rig in a year. Might as well be all the patches...

We've reach a point were games are moving to higher resolutions... 4K for instance. With those screens you'll need the high-end $1K cards. It's the only reason to purchase those cards.

Now, let's not go into 4K screens pricing, cause some of you will be going wtf...

two years ago, I bought my 16GB of ram at $65. Today, the same ram is $105. Somebody somewhere realized prices were too low. And for SSDs, prices aren't moving. I guess we've reach the max we could get for those components. Performances are not changing year after year. We've hit a wall.

Same thing with single core CPU years ago. They had to move on to double and quad cores to see gains in performance. Let's see what's coming in the future.
